Seems like on Friday was the last day of long-lasting summer this year. It was hot weather since April and there were rarely days below 25°C, and probably a record number of days above 30°C. The foliage of the trees got its share of damage, but taking into consideration all circumstances it is not so bad at the end.
Om this linden I'm reworking inner part of the crown and it will take some time to look good again but it was necessary. There was nice moss cover of the soil but during the holiday I uncovered protecting mesh to allow more water to reach surface and birds did its job done.
