Juniperus communis No.3 in new pot

During weekend I potted juniper in new temporary pot from Vincent Vadovsky made of concrete. Tree was collected in 2009. Nothing dramatic has been done so far, only shortening long branches for bringing green closer to the trunk.

Juniperus communis 3.

This is juniper collected this spring. It was growing under dense trees on steep bank. Till now it looks healthy. Dead wood in center is natural, actually its breaking apart, it must be cleaned later. Diameter of trunk is about 15cm.

Toto je borievka vykopaná túto jar. Rástla pod hustým porastom na veľmi strmom svahu. Zatiaľ vyzerá byť zdravá. Prírodné mŕtve drevo v strede sa rozpadáva a bude sa musieť nejako vyčistiť neskôr. Priemer kmeňa je asi 15 cm.
