Tree purchased from the garden centre around 2-3 years ago. In the first year, it was transplanted from a massive 40-50 litre plastic pot. It was wired and guy wired. Later, I took many cuttings, which were easy to do; almost all were successful.
Now, the tree has been repositioned, and a few curly long roots have been removed, but there are still plenty of roots that won't be needed in the future. I will repot it again next spring and remove more of them. It may go into a much smaller pot in a season or two. The back trunk cracked when wiring. Unfortunately, the top dried out. I may reconstruct the back part of the crown from new growth. We shall see.
